THE FEAST OF THE ASSUMPTION
Every year a large number of pilgrims make their way up the mountain trail to Veliko Rujno, , the largest plateau on Velebit, at 900 metres above sea level, where a magnificent procession is held after a festive holy mass in the Church of the Mother of God. On that day every household prepares a special meal and invites their relatives and friends to be their guests, and a grand festival is held in the evening hours on the central Starigrad waterfront

Bus line Zagreb - Starigrad - Zagreb
From 01 July to 31 August 2014., Runs daily bus line Zagreb - Starigrad - Zagreb.
Bus Slavonia starts from Zagreb at 08:30 pm and arrives in Starigrad at 12:00 am, and from Starigrad starts at 19:55 and comes in Zagreb at 23:30. The line includes Seline, Rovanjska, Maslenica and Posedarje.
Price one-way bus ticket is 130.00 kuna, and return 195, 00 kuna. Students and pensioners have a discount of 10%. Reservations and tickets are sold at a travel agency Slavonia Bus (+385 35 475 300) and travel agency Koma - Maras in Starigrad (+385 23 359 206).
