Vicki assigned hotel sign “Environmentally Friendly”
Hotel Vicki is one of the winners of the environmental label “Environmentally Friendly” by the Ministry of Environmental Protection, Physical Planning and Construction of this year for the first time granted the providers of accommodation in hotels and campsites.
The Environmental is part of the international policy of sustainable production and consumption, which seeks to
reduce the negative impact of production and consumption on the environment, health, climate and natural resources.
It shows that the observed high environmental standards above the prescribed
legal minimum. Manufacturers and all other parties participating in the award
willingly, wanting to show what they have done regarding the reduction of environmental pollution, consumption
raw materials and energy. Assign the character was conceived as enduring in the development of a recognizable product quality from the standpoint of environmental protection. It also represents a sign that the consumer in relation to environmental protection make the best choice and easier to find his way among the various advertising claims many of which are arbitrary, improper, or incorrect.
National symbol of environmental protection this year received 10 hotels and 5 camps in Croatia. Were selected on the basis of Regulations on Environmental Label (NN 70/08), which contains standards for accommodation in hotels and camps. The process of making scale was financially supported in part by the COAST project.
