	  <description>Zadar is a typical Adriatic town and the region centre of economy, administration, transportation and culture. The original part of the town is located on the low peninsula by the natural harbour. The harbour is open for international transportation and has a borders and two important connections with Italy, Rijeka – Rab – Zadar – Split, Hvar – Korcule – Sobra – Dubrovnik – Bari and Zadar – Brbinj – Ancona.. The railway connects Zadar with Split and Zahreb. The airport is near the town Donji Zemunik. Zadar has a couple of scientific and cultural institutes, including Art faculty at Institut of Croatian academy of science and research, historical archive, and museums. Between years 1409 and 1797 was Zadar under the control of Venice, after that under the control of Austria, besides years 1805 – 1813, when was Zadar under the control of France. After 1st war became to be part of Italy and in the year 1944 came to be part of Croatian. During a second war often bombed and was the one of the most destroyed town in Croatia. Zadar is the famous tourist place in north Dalmacie. It is a lot of memories in Zadar as: Romans square from 1st century, church of St. Donat from 9th century and church of St. Marija from year 1091 rebuilt in 16th century, cathedral of St. Stosija from 12th – 13th century, a lot of another churches, the parts of defences walls by the city harbour, city gate Porta Terra Ferma from year 1543, the tower Bablja, the Palace of Venice governor from year 1607, town building from 1562 and etc… Museums collections are in natural, historical, ethnographic and navy museums.</description>

	  <description>Split is town with the harbor at peninsula between bay Kastela and the sea canal Split. It is economy, transportation, cultural, education and healthy centre of Dalmaci and the residency of region Split Dalmacija. Split has 200 000 people and it is the biggest town at Croatian part of Adriatic coast. The route and railway connect the villages at coast with inland. Spilt has a international airport. The schedule ferry international lines are connecting: Split – Ancona, Rijeka – Zadar – Split – Stari Grad – Korcula – Sobra – Dubrovnik – Bari and regional Split – Rogac (Solta), Split – Supetar (Brac), Split – Vis, Split – Vis, Split – Stari Grad (Hvar) and Split – Hvar – Vela Luka (Korcula) – Uble (Lastovo) Harbour for persons transportation and ferry are located in the town’s harbour Gradska Luka, where we can find the repair of harbour, international marine border and douane. We can find couple of hotels, beaches, and 5 marines at the coast. Split has a couple of cultural memories as a archaeological, ethnographical, natural&#45;historical museum, gallery Mestrovic and National museum. The peak Marijan (175) in the west part of peninsula with the most beautiful park at Split and zoo has a great view at town, surrounding and near islands. Split was known as Aspalathos, built of Greek businessman in good protection bay.The large building called Spalatum were built in the 1st century. Big palace built in year 300 by Roman emperor Diocletianem, was always the dominant of the town. At the pictures of Split from the airplane is possible to see the original centre, located in are of big palace. The wall around the town is still keep. During the development of the Middle Ages Split became Diocletian palace changing to wrecks. When was at the beginning of 7th century destroyed near town Salona, some of the people from Salona moved in destroyed palace. The new persons changed the original looks and the building started to change. The failure of Salony helped to development of Middle Ages Split, behind the wall. The important memories in Diocletian palace are church of St. Duje, which was in past mausoleum, font (past Jupiter cathedral), yard, vestibule, underground halls, four palace’s gate, gothic pace Papalic (presently town musem) and etc. The most important monuments outside the palace are town hall, monastery and church of St. Frane, old Croatian church of St. Nikola and etc. The town and emperor’s palace are include in the list of UNESCO.</description>

	  <description>Šibenik, town and harbor is industrial, traffic and tourist resort in the area. Šibenik is situated by the estuary of river Krka to the sea (bay Šibenik). Šibenik lies at the intersection of the main roads Zadar &#45; Šibenik &#45; Split and Šibenik &#45; Drnis &#45; Knin; the railroad over Perkovic connects Šibenik with the railroad Zagreb &#45; Knin &#45; Split. Access to the harbour is through 11&#45;30m deep channel St. Ante. Around are hotels, apartments and the campgrounds. Šibenik has a especial position between Croatians’s town, thanks a great position and amazing bay. It was the old Croatian village under the fort of St. Mihovil, which under the name St. Anna is still domination of the town. The historic information allude Šibenik as Castrum Sebenici in the year 1006, when the Croatian king Petar Kesimir IV visited town. The middle Ages village with the narrow streets was unreeled under the fort St. Anna. From the beginning was the Šibenik important in the fights between in the Byzantine Empire and the Republic of Venice. On the end of 1st war, in the year 1918 became Šibenik part of Jugoslavie. The town is protecting from the land with the fort of St. Ana, St. Ivan and Subicevac and from the sea by the fort St. Nikola. Each fort is really architectonic jewel. Besides the forts has a Šibenik a lot of cultural and historical memories: Palace Foscolo (15th century), town house (16th century), couple of churches from the 14th century to 20th century. The biggest and the most important is the cathedral of St. Jakov, built between years 1431 – 1536. Cathedral was built from stones and stone board, without using the additional material. With the combination with the town hall, near churches and the Palace of Princes made to the most beautiful square in Croatian. Around Šibenik are pretty small villages and natural places, mainly National park Krka and islands of Kornati.</description>

	  <description>Podgora is fishing and tourist village with harbor on the southeast from the Makarska. Podgora has a original part (at the hill side) and new part at coast. Lot of fountains of drink water and healthy fountain Klokun make Podgora famous. In the village and in the surrounding is a large vegetation and on the coast are beautiful beaches. Podgora offer great opportunities for sports and recreation. In Podgora is lot of cultural and entertainment during the summer season. The memory (the shape of the bird’s wings) reminds the establishment of first guerilla marine unit during the occupation in years 1941 &#45; 1945.</description>

	  <description>Ploče is industry town with big harbor and railway terminal rail line to Sarajevo. Its located on the east coast of bay Luka Ploče. Ferry line connects town with peninsula Peljesac (Trpanj). First information about village is from 14th century but urban redevelopment began before 2nd world war, when was built modern harbor. Town was rebuilt and extended after second war and presently is one of the biggest harbor in Adriatic sea. More then 75% of traffic from harbor is to Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the harbor is international marine boarder. Private ships are not allowed in the north part of bay.</description>

	  <description>Nin is historical town on the peninsula with small and shallow lagoon of the bay Nin. It was built at low peninsula, which changed at island in 14th century. Nin is connected with land with two bridges. The chief occupation is farming, prosecution of grapes, olives, fruits, fishing and tourism. In the surrounding of Nin are located lagoons with healthy silt. The silt was using as medication already in Romans time. Near Nin is situated sanatorium with outside rehabilitation during the summer time. Nin was in Romans time called Aenona and was important town, later on was capital city of county and residency place of Croatian’s bishopric. The memory of Grgur Ninski (the famous Croatian bishop from the end of 10th century) is situated at Nin as well. Nin has a interest museum. By the road is located old church of St. Nikol from 11th century.</description>

	  <description>Makarska is the centre of tourisms of 60 km long Makarska Riviera, which is ending on the south by village Gradac. The ferry connects town with island Brac (Sumarin) Makarska has a approximately same number of sunny days as Hvar, but in the winter time here the Bora blows strong. The chief occupancy is farming, rising of grapevine, olive trees, fruits, grocery industry, fishing and tourisms. The town is located at coast under the steep hills of mountains Biokovo. The originally centre of the town has a Adriatic look, the new part has a hotels, restaurants and shops. The beach (1,5 km) located at bay Donja Luka, has a park, pines trees. The medical centre offer lot of kinds of therapies. The first information about Makarska is from the village Makar, which is 1km from the town, or from Romans village Muccurum, which was destroyed by Ostrogoty in year 1548. Neretvans were dominated there, later was dominated family of Kotroman, Turky, Venetians, and finally Austrians till year 1918. The first hotel was built in year 1914. The centre was developed at 17th and 18th century around the main square and the church of St. Marko from 18th centrury. The monument of the writer, monk Andij Kačič Mioširé is situated at the town square. Near the cape Osejava, on the south from the harbor is located the monastery from year 1400, which present look is from year 1614. The monastery’s church has a gallery. The museum of &quot;mollucs&quot; has a large collection of sea mussels (about 10 000).</description>

	  <description>Korčula is town with ferry landing place located by canal Peljasac at northeast coast of island Korčula. Korčula has traditions of boat sailing, building of ships and of stone&#45;cutting. Korčula is one of the well preserved town in Adriatic sea and also important tourist centre with long tradition of tourism. Plans for structure of Korčula were made at 13th century and it started building of town. Town wall was built in 13th century. Reminds of towers are Revelin (1493 &#45;1496) with main town gate (1650), Tiepolo (end of 15th century) at north side and Barbarigo (1488) at west side of harbor. The domination of town centre is cathedral of St. Marko. Cathedral was finished at the end of 15th century and became to be residency of diocese. In surrounding of cathedral is situated bishop’s palace from 17th century. In the front of cathedral is situated Gabriel’s palace, which is presently using as town museum Radnice (ground floor from year 1525) and chapel of Our Virgin (1531). Dominican monastery with church of St. Nikola in the west part of town has collection of artistic work. Well known traveler Marco Polo (1254 – 1324) was supposedly born there. The most attractive old routine is chivalric dance called &quot;Moreska&quot;, which happen each year on 29th July from 15th.</description>
